- I made a form prototype to either be on the Ability Project website or hung on posters throughout the 3rd floor or both.
- I also really liked the idea of stickers for light switches. In 2 Metrotech for a class, the professor didn’t know how to bring down the screen and was fiddling with the panel on the podium but it turned out to just be a control on the light switches instead. I realized how helpful it would be if every room had some instructions next to all those light switches, because there’s so many different kinds and there’s also other media involved in rooms like laptops, projectors, screens, etc.
- I checked out trainings, but Trusted Tester and W3C are mostly for websites. Microsoft’s fundamentals mentioned other mediums such as AI.
- I completed the first module but it was just about what disability and assistive tech was.
For next week:
- Check out some light switches in 370 Jay to see how you could design some stickers.
- How to print out the stickers? Cricut?
- Finalize form and make a design to print posters?
